Kursusepidaja tutvustus:

Dr. Ralchenko has a background in quantum electronics and material science. His expertise includes thermal phenomena, chemical vapor deposition processes, laser interaction with matter, diamond materials, nanomaterials. His focus in current research is on plasma-assisted synthesis and application of CVD diamond in electronics, including FET, UV and X-ray detectors, thermal management for electronic devices.
His recent results include investigation of stimulated Raman scattering in polycrystalline diamond, realization of diamond-based MESFET and UV position-sensitive detectors, nitrogen-doped nanocrystalline diamond electrochemical electrodes, growth of isotopically pure CVD diamond with enhanced thermal conductivity, synthesis of diamond nonowires, development of novel diamond-based composites and carbon photonic crystals. Dr. Ralchenko has published over 250 technical papers, edited two books, holds eight patents.
He gave many talks at international conferences, including invited presentations, served as the member of Organizing Committees of six international conferences on diamond materials. Dr. Ralchenko managed many international and Russian scientific projects. His Diamond Materials Laboratory currently employs 11 researchers. Citation index (WoS): 3192, h-index: 27.
